If there is anyone in the car enthusiast community that pays as much attention to detail and functionality, it is definitely Lawrence. Proud owner of a 2005 Subaru WRX, Lawrence has followed a very strict mantra when modifying his car: functionality beats all. And when it comes to installing a part, no one does it better and cleaner the first time around than him. Given his natural tendency to favor functionality over form, it's not surprising to learn that Lawrence wasn't the biggest fan of aftermarket xenon conversion kits. While brighter than halogen bulbs, kits never offered the glare-control offered with OEM HID projector retrofits. However, now a happy owner of a LUX Xenon Conversion System, his views towards aftermarket xenon conversion kits have changed for the better. If a single product can convert even the most anti-HID kit customer we know, it shouldn't be too hard to convince the rest.
